Line 1, Wuhan Metro Bridge, China

Line 1 of Wuhan Metro is an elevated metro line in Wuhan – the capital of the Hubei province of China – carrying an elevated light rail through the city. Spanning 37.7km, Line 1 of Wuhan Metro – which opened in 1995 and re-opened in 2004 after renovations in 2003 – is the world’s longest unbroken metro viaduct. When it opened in July 2004, Line 1 made Wuhan the fifth city in mainland China to have a metro system after Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.

Beijing Grand Bridge in China ranks eighth among 10 longest bridges in world. The 48.2km-long (29.9 mi) bridge is 44 meters high a part of the Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway from Beijing to Shanghai. It was completed in 2010 and opened to traffic in 2011. It now serves as a convenient and efficient mode of transportation for both commuters and tourists.

In Thailand there is a bridge 54 km long, that is, it is slightly shorter than the previous one. This six-lane road is located in the city of Bangkok and is a toll road. The bridge was built in order to reduce the amount of traffic jams when entering the city. It was built back in 2000 and for a while was considered the longest in the world. Then the aforementioned bridges were built and the Bang Na Highway lost its record-breaking status.
Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge, China

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is completed in 2018 at a cost of $18.8 billion. The 55km-long bridge that connects Hong Kong and Macao is the longest sea bridge in the world. The bridge consists of a series of three cable-stayed bridges, an undersea tunnel, and four artificial islands. Construction of the Hong kong-Zhuhai-Macao-bridge began in December 2009 and the entire project was finalized on February 6, 2018.

The fifth-longest bridge is 79 km long and connects the Chinese cities of Zhengzhou and Xian and is part of the high-speed railroad. Zhengzhou – Xi’an. The bridge was completed in 2008, and the railway line was opened in 2010. More than 2.3 million cubic meters of concrete and 45,000 tons of steel were required to build the bridge, which crosses the Wei River twice.

Tianjin Grand Bridge is a railway viaduct bridge that runs between Langfang and Qingxian, part of the Beijing–Shanghai High-Speed Railway. It is one of the longest bridges in the world with a total length of about 113.7 km. It was completed in 2010 and opened in 2011. The viaduct carries high-speed trains over heavily populated areas and includes 32 individual sections, each built and installed separately.
Changhua–Kaohsiung Viaduct, Taiwan

The 157.3 km Changhua-Kaohsiung Viaduct is part of the Taiwan High-Speed Railway. The viaduct was built to be able to withstand seismic activity, as Taiwan is seismically active thanks to the country’s position near the junction of two tectonic plates. Opened in 2007, the bridge runs from Baguashan in Changhua County to Zuoying in Kaohsiung. It moved 200 million passengers in its first five years of operation.
